Ultra Rare Smith & Wesson Model 29 No Dash .44 Magnum 8 3/8″ Nickel

$6,750

A factory letter accompanies truly special and exceedingly rare Model 29 confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on May 10, 1961 to the Texas Gun Clinic in Houston, Texas. This incredible 4-screw .44 Magnum is equipped with the sought after 8 3/8” barrel, original nickel finish, checkered Goncalo Alves diamond target stocks AKA ‘Cokes’ and full target accessories. The gun is complete in the original presentation case with all the unused cleaning tools. Knowledgeable collectors are aware there were only a handful of early long-barreled nickel .44 Magnums built!

This investment grade .44 Magnum retains 99% of the original nickel finish which is bright and clear showing only the faintest of collector type handling wear. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the ‘Cokes’ are gorgeous. Overall this is a rare opportunity for any collector to secure a sought after and valuable N-frame for their collection.
