A factory letter accompanies this ultra rare Pre Model 26 confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on September 8, 1954 to Rex Firearms in New York, New York.
This fantastic and highly sought after 1950 Target, one of only 200 ever built, is equipped with a 6 1/2″ barrel, original satin blue finish and the numbers matching checkered walnut diamond magna grips. Be sure to take note of the original maroon two piece box, Helpful Hints brochure and unused cleaning tools.
The gun is in positively outstanding condition from end to end and retains 99%+ of the original satin blue finish. The original grips show a little faint handling evidence but are otherwise very crisp and sharp. An extraordinary .45 Colt N-frame that will make an excellent investment!
