$9,500

A factory letter accompanies this unbelievably rare  .44 Hand Ejector Post War Transition Target confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on June 12, 1947 to Badger Shooters Supply Company in Owen, Wisconsin as part of a single unit special order. This fantastic and investment grade S&W is equipped with a 6 ½” barrel, original satin blue finish with checkered walnut sharp shoulder diamond magna grips. The gun is complete in the correct and equally crisp gold picture box with the 1946-47 sales catalogue and the cleaning tools, including the correct blued steel cleaning rod.

One of the most rare of all post-World War II S&W target revolvers with less than 50-75 total manufactured, this important revolver shows only slight shooting and handling wear overall. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. Be certain to add this seldom-ever seen example to your S&W collection!!
