Smith & Wesson ULTRA RARE 4″ Pre Model 27 .357 Magnum
A factory letter accompanies this ultra rare Pre Model 27 confirming the configuration and detailing its or on April 22, 1957 to the H.H. Harris Company in Chicago Illinois. This is one of fifteen Pre Model 27’s ever built with a 4″ barrel, all of which were special ordered by and delivered solely to H.H. Harris. The gun is equipped with a red-ramp front sight, white outline rear sight, target hammer, target trigger and checkered walnut diamond magna grips. Without question the rarest of the Model of 1950 .357 Magnum variations to be had and one that few collectors have ever seen.
The gun is as-new and complete in the original numbers matching gold picture box with the Nox-Rust paper, Helpful Hints brochure and unused tool kit including the blue steel knurled sight adjustment screwdriver. This is the finest example of an extremely rare .357 Magnum that any collector could ever hope to own and will be a centerpiece in any N-frame collection; absolutely positively no upgrade ever.
