Smith & Wesson Pre Model 37 2″ Square Butt

Built in 1955 on the 3-Screw frame this mint condition Pre-Model 37 is one of the few examples made with a 2″ barrel and square butt grip. This early Airweight Chiefs Special has the early style hammer, 2nd style flat latch and a steel cylinder.
The gun retains over 99% of the original blue finish and anodizing and comes in the original numbers matching grey ‘Sunburst’ box with the Helpful Hints brochure and kraft paper. The original numbers matching checkered walnut diamond magna grips are every bit as mint as the gun itself. This mint J-frame can never be upgraded in any way!
