Built in 1955 on the five screw N-frame this fabulous Pre Model 24 aka Model of 1950 .44 Target is a pristine example equipped with a 6.5″ barrel, checkered walnut diamond magna grips and Patridge front sight blade. The gun comes in an equally mint gold picture box with the rare ‘1950 Model 44 Target Revolver’ sticker, the tissue wrap, a Hoppe’s brochure and a neat 1957 dated letter from the NRA to the owner that is filled with NRA membership applications.
The gun retains over 99%+ of the original satin blue finish and is mint from end to end with no signs of wear other than a slight cylinder line. An outstanding overall example that will never need to be upgraded!
