A factory letter accompanies this incredible Model 53 confirming the configuration and detailing its original first year shipment on September 27, 1961 to the Freeland Scope Stand Company in Rock Island, Illinois. This outstanding Model 53 .22 Jet is equipped with an 8 3/8″ barrel, the original blue finish and checkered walnut diamond target stocks. A very scarce early 1st year Jet with the most sought after barrel length that comes in the original numbers matching blue box with the NOX-Rust paper, warranty card and cleaning tools.
The gun is as-new in the box! The original bright blue finish is wonderful and mint from end-to-end, as are the original target grips. A Model 53 that will never need to be upgraded in any possible way!
