Built in the first year of production of 1960 this incredibly rare original nickel Model 51 is one of just a small handful made on the round butt J-frame! The overwhelming majority of Model 51 production are built on the square butt J-frame, with only a few hundred round but examples in existence. This is a true collectors item, note the low serial number!
The gun retains over 99% of the original nickel finish which is very bright and clear showing only the faintest of collector-type handling evidence. The original numbers matching checkered walnut diamond magna grips are every bit as mint as the gun itself. An extremely rare .22 Magnum Kit Gun that cannot be duplicated in a lifetime of searching!
