Built in 1957 on the 3-screw frame this rare and desirable flat-latch is one of the few early model marked ‘Bodyguards’ to be had. The shrouded hammer allows for single-action firing while preventing any snagging when drawing from a holster or pocket.
An awesome J-frame which remains in outstanding condition complete in the original box with the Helpful Hints brochure and kraft paper. The checkered walnut high-horn diamond magna grips are every bit as crisp and mint as the gun itself. The gun retains 99% of the original blue finish and anodizing and will never need to be upgraded!
