A factory letter accompanies this unbelievably rare Model 29 No Dash confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on November 21, 1961 to Rex Firearms in New York, New York. This fabulous 4-screw .44 Magnum is equipped with the sought after 5” barrel, original nickel finish, checkered Goncalo Alves diamond target stocks AKA ‘Cokes’ and full target accessories. The gun is complete in the original mahogany display clamshell case with all the unused cleaning tools. Per the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation this is one of only three ever built in this configuration. This is a significant .44 Magnum that will be a cornerstone in any N-frame collection.

This amazing .44 Magnum remains in excellent overall condition and retains 99% of the original nickel finish which is bright and clear. There is a small rub on the left side of the frame just beneath the cylinder window and a few very minor scattered aging and faint handling marks. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the ‘Cokes’ are gorgeous. Overall this is truly a once in a lifetime acquisition in outstanding all-original condition. Do not miss this one!!
