Built in 1966 on the three screw K-frame this mint condition Model 19-2 .357 Combat Magnum is equipped with a 2 1/2″ barrel, original bright blue finish and the matching numbered checkered walnut magna grips. The gun comes in the original numbers matching pre Bangor Punta blue box with the unused tool kit, warranty card and vapor paper. The 2 1/2″ barrel was introduced in 1966, and the model was changed to the 19-3 in 1967, with a production time of less than one year these such guns are extremely hard to find!
The gun retains 99% of the original bright blue finish and is outstanding from end to end with only the faintest of collector type handling evidence present. No upgrade will ever be possible for this very scarce Model 19-2 which is worthy of the advanced collectors very close attention.
