An unbelievably rare 1979-mfg. S&W 9mm, ONE of only 112 ever produced and complete in the original two-piece matching number Bangor Punta blue box, with three magazines, the unusued tool kit, all the factory papers and the original sales reciept! Basically a “steel frame” Model 59, these pistols were assigned the “147-A” model designation when it was decided not to place this variation in the company catalog as a regular production model. The condition rates virtually as-new except for only the faintest of collector-type handling evidence.
