Smith & Wesson 5″ .357 Non Registered Magnum

$10,500

A factory letter accompanies this outstanding .357 Non Registered Magnum confirming the configuration seen and detailing its original shipment on February 2, 1940 to the Western Metal & Supply Company in San Diego, California. The gun comes in an equally fine pre war blue picture box with the trilingual caution flyer, cleaning brush and period bore swabs. It is equipped with a 5” barrel, Call gold bead front sight blade, the numbers matching checkered walnut Magna grips and the original bright blue finish. This is an extremely tough to find barrel length in the NRM series, and one that remains in outstanding all original condition. The gun retains 99% of the original bright blue finish with only slight scattered minor aging. The recoil shield shows no signs of firing and the cylinder has virtually no turn-line. The original numbers matching Magna grips are every bit as crisp and mint as the gun itself. If you have been looking for a very special pre-war .357 Magnum for your advanced collection then look no further!
