A factory letter accompanies this .357 Non Registered Magnum confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on January 12, 1940 to the Union Hardware & Metal Company in Los Angeles, California. The gun is equipped with a 3 1/2” barrel, original bright blue finish, the numbers matching checkered walnut silver medallion Magna grips, Humpback Hammer, King red-post front sight on a King reflector base and a King white outline rear sight blade. This 1940 shipped .357 Magnum is complete in the ultra rare small sized blue picture box with the Helpful Hints brochure, trilingual caution flyer, cleaning bottle brush, tissue wrap and the envelope containing the extra rear sight blade and knurled sight adjustment screwdriver. The gun is virtually AS-NEW! The original blue finish is 99%++ on any scale and the original numbers matching grips are mint save for only tiny impression on the butt. The bore and cylinder chambers are flawless and the mechanical working order is perfect.
