Smith & Wesson 1963 Model 27 .357 Magnum
Built in 1963-1964 on the three screw frame this extremely fine Model 27 is equipped with the most popular 3 1/2″ barrel, original nickel finish and original numbers matching checkered walnut diamond magna grips. The gun is complete in the original numbers matching gold picture box with the Model brochure, warranty card, vapor paper and tool kit. The gold picture box was used from 1950 to about 1960 for the early .357 Magnums, though in classic S&W fashion of never wasting a product, was used here on a slightly later shipping gun. An interesting highlight on this awesome Model 27!
The gun remains in outstanding condition from end to end retaining 99%+ of the original nickel finish which is bright and clear with a few scattered handling marks and slight aging. The original numbers matching grips are every bit as crisp and sharp as the gun itself. Overall a complete and all original package that is sure to have a special place in any collection!
