Fantastic Colt Police Positive Roper Grips

This is a fantastic pair of beautifully figured ‘Roper’ grips that fit a Colt Police Positive from the pre-war period. These were made by Mathias Gagne, an employee in the Smith & Wesson stocking department, and marketed by Walter Roper, noted gun author from the period.

The grips are in positively mint condition and can never be upgraded in any way. The grain pattern is wonderful and is clearly visible through the checkering, and is especially nice on the butt!
