Douglas B Wesson’s Smith & Wesson .38 Regulation Police
A factory letter accompanies this incredible .38 Regulation Police confirming its shipment on November 17, 1919 to Douglas B. Wesson, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, MA. Written on the bottom of the original box is the matching serial number as well as ‘D. B. Wesson’. Inside the box is the original dry-fire target, bottle brush and personalized ‘D. Wesson’ marked green matchbook. The gold-medallion extension walnut grips are numbers-matching and every bit as mint as the gun itself. Note the extremely rare period Winchester ‘picture-box’ ammunition!
The gun is complete in the original box with everything and is virtually as-new. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the gun is perfect mechanically. This can never be upgraded in any possible way.
